Israel Supported Countries

Israel is a tiny nation with an old religious history. Israel is also known as a sacred faith-based land. It has a strong spiritual heritage and a solid root. As a result of this, many nations today are part of Israel’s Supported Countries.

This small country started a long time ago, thousands of years precisely.

In the beginning, the Jewish, later called Israelite settled in a land called Canaan. They were many in number, from different tribes. With time, they united together as one people, under the reign of King David and Solomon. Later on, King Solomon built a temple which was used as a place of worship and a political centre.

The kingdom was later split into Israel and Judah when king Solomon died.

After a while, the temple was destroyed by the Babylonians, after they took over the land of Israel. The Jews had no other option than to leave the land.

However, years later, some Jews came back to rebuild another temple. Not quite long after the second temple was built by the Jews, some Greek came and took the land from the Jews. After the Greeks took over, the Romans also came and took the entire land from the Greeks.

The Jews kept trying to hold their land, but other bigger empires keep coming to take the land from them.

Furthermore, after the Romans took over, they eventually destroyed the second temple. This time, most Jews left their homeland to settle in different countries like in the North America and in Europe.

Moreover, other bigger empires still came and took turns in ruling Israel during the reign of the Romans. These groups are: the Ottoman Empire, various Islamic dynasties and the Byzantine Empire.

Despite the Jewish living far way in different countries, they still prayed and hope to return to their homeland. The Jewish never forgot their ancestral home.

The Jewish faced a lot of hardship and enslavement in other countries where they settled. The Jews wished to return to their origin. Then a modern Israel, a movement called Zionism came into being.

After the World War 1, the British Empire took over the Palestine region. Later on,  The United Nations wanted to divide the Palestine region into Jewish and Arab states. The Jewish leaders accepted, but Arab leaders rejected the idea. This led to the war between the Jewish and the Arab, known as the Arab-Israeli War. The Jewish won and becoming an Independent country known as Israel.

Israel’s Economic Growth

After the Israelis won the war and became an independent nation. They faced a lot of hardship. Israel used to be a poor country with total dependence on agriculture for survival.  They had limited resources and no money. The Israelis struggled so much to survive. They were determined to grow the economy of the country.

They received foreign assistance from Israel Supported Countries like the United States, Russia, Poland, and Uruguay after its independence.

Israel also had hardworking immigrants who brought in new skills into the country.

A group of farmers called Kibbutzim, shared their proceeds from the farm to the Israelis. They shared foods, clothes, including building houses for people with what they had. They were special people who believed in a better Israel. This agenda helped to develop the country faster.

The Kibbutzim farmers turned the desert land in Israel into farmlands. They helped Israel by growing more foods so people won’t go hungry. The Kibbutzim were part of Israel’s early beginning.

As time went by, the Israelis faced an economic crisis. Cost of living went high, including money, food and other basic needs. But with time, the Israel government was able to stabilize the economy.

In the early 90’s, technology began to taking over. The country no longer depend solely on traditional farming. Companies like Google, Microsoft and other research hub took over the economy of Israel.

Israel is a dry desert land, so water technology was put in place to provide good water for the people.
